"Indi-cast" is a new revolutionary cast steel shot mfg. by a new, less expensive patented technology for use when high volume is a requirement and lower pricing is necessary. "Indi-cast" steel is available in 20 lb. bags. "Indi-cast" stell is an unannealed (unsoftened) steel. It's important that the hand loader reads all cautionary warnings (see volume #8 of the RSI steel shot shell handbook) and does not exceed the volumetric capacity of wads. Use only recipes that call for "Indi-cast" steel. Now , the economics of lead and the environmental friendliness of steel.

R.S.I. is excited to announce the development and availability of a 12.0 density steel shot alloy known as Hevi-Shot. Hevi-Shot is a tungsten-nickel steel non-toxic shot designed expressly for ultra long-range turkey, varmit, duck and goose shooting. Hevi-Shot, with a density of 12.0 vs 7.8 of normal steel shot, will open up a new era of performance with radically enhanced long range energy for special requirement's long range gunning. Hevi-Shot will reload and shoot very similarly to New Generation Steel. All R.S.I. components are compatible with Hevi-Shot.
