On the way to inventing American E- Shot, there were several shot progenies that we discovered and kept for later use. Now, not everyone wants or needs American E- Shot, some shooters are already set up with newer ( non- classic ) guns with chokes and barrels that are ok with harder shot alternatives.



Along with E- Shot, RSI was also searching for a better than replacement for Hevi shot: A ball that is denser, less abrasive, more spherical. A softer shot that would be perfect for the NON-(classic, subgauge fixed choke user), using H shot or E-Shot recipes, with the Sam 1 wad, helping the reloader make unbelievable shells.

 


Hevi-Shot Reloaders Guide will simplify the important information on how and why to reload Hevi-Shot. It will also have various information on gunning with Hevi-Shot, and what you should anticipate relative to its performance in hunting.



AGAIN, WE RECOMMEND E- SHOT FOR CLASSIC AND SUBGAUGE AND ALL FIXED CHOKE USE. HEAVY WEIGHT IS MORE WELL TOLERATED WHEN USED IN GUNS THAT HAVE APPROVAL FOR STEEL SHOT USE. DENSITY IS KING - MAKE UNBELIEVABLE SHELLS PERFECT FOR THE HUNTER THAT IS ALREADY USING STEEL-TUNGSTEN LIKE SHELLS



HeavyWeight Shot is a Tungsten alloy alternative and is FWS approved for use. RSI WILL BE MAKING HW IN SEVERAL MIXTURES GIVEN THE REQUIRED USE. THE 1'ST HW MIXTURE IS A TUNGSTEN BRONZE BALL WITH NOMINAL DENSITIES @ 13 KNOWN AS HW 13. Use hevishot or E-Shot recipes , or the vol. 3 - HW Reloader’s Guide. Reloading HW will require using more spacers under or preferably over the shot to make a more level shell.
